“ልደት የሱስ ክርስቶስ ከምዚ እዩ፡ ኣዲኡ ማርያም ንዮሴፍ ተሓጽያ ኸላ ከይተራኸቡ፡ ብመንፈስ ቅዱስ ጠኒሳ ተረኽበት። . . . ወዲ ኽትወልድ እያ፡ ንሱ ኸኣ ንህዝቡ ኻብ ሓጢኣቶም ኬድሕኖም እዩ እሞ፡ ስሙ የሱስ ክትሰምዮ ኢኻ። . . . እንሆ ድንግል ክትጠንስ ወዲ እውን ክትወልድ እያ፡ ስሙ ኸኣ ኣማኑኤል ኪብልዎ እዮም፡ ትርጉሙ ኣምላኽ ምሳና እዩ። . . . ስሙ ድማ የሱስ ሰመዮ።” (ማቴ 1፡ 18፥ 21፥23፥25)
